This weekend we went to Mole National Park, one of the largest game and safari parks in Ghana. It was really nice! It was a 2 1/2 hour drive, 80% of which was over a really rocky, bumpy road. The car was airborn at least once. And I tasted my lunch at least twice. Here's some scenery we saw along the way...
When we first got out of the car...
But we still enjoyed the scenery!
So the food in Ghana is primarily meat, as you would expect, and also lots of fish. Much of the food is deep-fried, at least in restaurants. It's ironic that most people here are fairly fit! I think it's all the walking and self-sufficiency. I took a picture of Hamsza's lunch so you can see a typical Ghanian meal.
Before
After
Hamsza had to eat quickly, as there were baboons jumping up on the tables stealing people's sandwiches!
