Crocodile Farm!

 Today we went to Paga, a nearby town which is known for its crocodile farm...took us 3 hours to get there (2 hours Aziz time) and it was quite cramped for some of our taller patrons--note the head & knees...

 Stopped at a gas station along the way---you are literally looking at the entire gas station right here

When we got there, a friend was waiting to meet us. The tradition is, you come close to the crocodile and he will allow you to pet him, but then they sacrifice a chicken as a 'thank you' to him....which is also the reason he doesn't eat you when you get close. Someone took photos on my camera of the chicken being sacrificed but I felt like that was not a nice thing to post- so you won't see that part, but here's the rest of our crocodile- petting experience...

Jonathan was a little hesitant, but quickly relaxed...

And I was the chicken...not the one that got eaten, but a chicken nonetheless

In my defense, I was more nervous about his friend who was moving around in back

This poor bird deserves an honorable mention 

It was a cool experience. It's not every day you get to pet a crocodile in West Africa! We stopped on the way home to pick up vegetables for dinner

And saw a barber shop- note Bow Wow and Ludacris as advertisements for a stylish cut
